About this version.

This is a work in progress. I’m redoing my thesis in R and Quarto both as a way of learning R and because I want the data to be more shareable than the the (non-searchable for some reason) PDF of the thesis allows.

  • original data files have been cleaned - again - using Open Refine. Original files and Open Refine JSON stored with this project.
  • I plan to add an updated section on the data, including downloadable files
  • Errors corrected when found - including some that I was not allowed to fix in the published verison.

Done

  • Part 1 and an idea for the structure of the book is in place
  • Part 2 is done
  • Calculations and visuals for Part 1 and Part 2 are somewhat in place - but none are polished

To do:

  • Formating and citations in the appendices
  • Redo calculations and visuals for appendices
  • Re-format all tables
  • Finish visualisations
  • Write a proper preface
  • Add alt text for all images.
  • note on titles
  • Add Drømmer (Haugerud 2024) citation when it has an IMDB page
  • Update some of the citations that are still missing or have errors
